Join in a gathering envisioning a better world for pets, wildlife and the people who support their causes. We will focus this year's campaign on saving the cheetah.
A $25 ticket includes the prayer and 50 minute ground tour walk and talk with the animals. $10 from each ticket will be donated to the Cheetah Conservation Fund.

Want to Learn Reiki?
Reiki is an ancient energy healing art that balances and replenishes the body, mind, emotions and spirit of all living beings. Our bodies are built to heal themselves and Reiki energy stimulates the healing process.
The Reiki healing ability is delivered to students through a series of attunements (in Level 1 and Level 2 classes) that "rewire" the body to carry the powerful energy. Once students are attuned to carry Reiki, the healing energy will always be available to them for life regardless of the amount of time that passes in between each use.
Becoming a Reiki practioner is a wonderful and incredibly, life-altering experience. Reiki promotes a non-competitive spirit! There are many different "dialects" of Reiki classes and teachers from which to choose. As part of your journey, it will be valuable to seek out the ones that you feel a connection to.

REIKI 1
|
REIKI LEVEL 1
Reiki is a non-invasive healing art based on channeling energy from the universe to the recipient through a series of gentle energy touches. Universal life force energy is present in all living things and a shortage or blockage of this energy results in physical, mental or emotional "dis-ease". Reiki balances and unites the body, mind and spirit and leaves you feeling relaxed and replenished with a sense of peacefulness and clarity. From this position it is possible to live life at an optimal level.
Students receive four energetic attunements that last a lifetime. These attunements, also called initiations "rewire" the body to carry the expanded flow of Reiki energy. This is a traditional Reiki class under the guidelines of founder Dr. Mikao Usui, Shiki Ryoho (school of natural healing). It includes the traditional oral history and philosophy of Reiki as well as tips for animals. Reiki is taught as a tool for healing self first, then others.

This class helps shift feelings of victim hood or powerlessness and encourages people to further step into the power of their spirit. It adds more unconditional love to our lives and helps us express our soul level truths. Personal growth and spiritual quests usually accompany this process. For this reason, it is recommended that students wait 3-6 months after Reiki 1 before continuing on to Level 2.
Students from other Reiki lineages are welcome to attend. Class size is limited. Please contact Marla for available space.
